(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
The above act came into force on 31 October 2000 and the Bag
Lady service order system has been designed to comply with its
relevant requirements. Your attention is drawn to:
Confirmation 1.0
The regulations state that 'after making a purchase
the consumer must be sent confirmation'.
If you fill in the e-mail field when you make an order,
you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This should
be immediate. As our order fulfillment system
works automatically as soon as the order is received,
therefore possible that you will receive services
before the confirmation intervention.
Cooling-off Period 1.1
The regulations state that 'consumers must have the
right of cancellation of an order within a 'cooling-off'
period of 7 working days'. In this instance the The
Bag Lady system is an exception and customers do not
have the right to cancel because 'the supply of goods
has been made to the consumer.
Cancellation Period 1.2
The regulations require 'the supplier to inform the
consumer prior to the conclusion of a contract that
he will not be able to cancel, once performance of
the service has begun'. In this instance the placing
of an order, using the order system, will be deemed
as your agreement for us to begin the service and
therefore you will not have the right to cancel under
this regulation.

The regulations require 'the supplier to provide the
customer with certain information'. This information
is provided within the Bag Lady site on 'Guide
Pages', 'Customer Care' and 'Consumer Protection (Distance
Selling) Regulations 2000' pages.
